Housed on the second floor of Lewisham Library, a purpose-built building. Toilets and picnic facilities are located on the ground floor.

Photographs, maps and some directories are on open access as well as books. Other material will be provided by staff. Pre-ordering advised. Service may be limited 12-2 and on Saturdays. Booking is advised for microfilm readers. Copying facilities.

There are publications for sale which are also obtainable by post.
