Housed in the attractive former almshouses of the Ironmongers Company.
As well as displays of interiors there are computer terminals with additional information and a reference library which includes some volumes of the Survey of London. There is a cafe, shop and a Friends organisation.

The Herb Garden and Period Garden Rooms are open April - October
